In Loving Memory of Tracy Jo Clinch
January 14, 1965 – November 29, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister Tracy, the youngest of four siblings, who left us too soon on November 29, 2024. Tracy was a radiant soul whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. Tracy was born to James and Marian (Keffeler) Clinch in Rapid City, South Dakota on January 14, 1965, joining two older brothers and a sister.
After completing her high school education, she went to beauty college. During her time as a hairdresser, Tracy had a talent for bringing out the beauty in others, not only through her artistry but also with her kind words and infectious smile. Her salon chair was more than just a place for transformation; it was a haven where friendships blossomed and laughter echoed.
During her time as office assistant at AAction Moving and Storage, she was instrumental in keeping things moving in a smooth and efficient manner. Tracy’s talent and experience has been greatly missed.
In addition to being a single mother and working full time, Tracy made time to look after our mother, Marian, in her waning years.
Tracy was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Brandy and Michael. She adored them, along with her grandchildren, Melody and Zander with all her heart. She found joy in the simple moments. Her love for them was unwavering and unmatched.
Tracy is survived by her children, Brandy Jo Clinch of Hot Springs SD and Michael (Sally) Spack of Rapid City SD; her grandchildren, Zander and Melody; her siblings, Michael (Francine) Clinch of Presho, SD, Dr. Patrick (Cynthia) Clinch of Rapid City, SD, and Chris (Don) Lampert of Rapid City, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her light will forever shine in our hearts, reminding us to embrace each other with love, grace, and kindness.
Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Marian (Keffeler) Clinch.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held on January 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Black Hills Funeral home in Sturgis, SD. All who loved her are invited to join us in honoring her beautiful spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Monument Health Cancer Care Institute in memory of the wonderful care Tracy received while in their care.
